User Roles & Permissions

Minotaur uses role-based access control to determine what you can see and do within the platform. Your role is assigned by your organization's administrator, and it defines your level of access and capabilities.


Available Roles


Organization Admin


You've got the keys to the kingdom. This is the highest-level role in the organization, giving you full access to all features, including: - All Administrator capabilities - Managing your organization's subscription plan, billing, and account settings - Full visibility across all users, clients, jobs, and candidates

Administrator


You have full access to all platform features, so you can: - Manage user accounts (create, invite, edit, suspend, deactivate) - Customize client and job pipeline stages - Create, edit, and delete clients, jobs, and candidates - Access all reports and data across the organization

Manager


You've got elevated access with oversight capabilities. Here's what you can do: - View and manage jobs and candidates across your assigned scope - Create and manage clients, jobs, and candidates - Can't access organization billing, subscription settings, or user management

Recruiter / Consultant


Your access is scoped to the clients assigned to you by an Administrator. You can: - View and manage jobs and candidates within your assigned clients - Create candidates, add notes, manage activities, and change candidate stages - Can't access organization settings, billing, or user management - Can't view clients or jobs outside your assigned scope

Guest


You've got read-only access, perfect for external collaborators (like client contacts). You can: - View clients, jobs, and candidates you've been invited to - Export data to Excel - Can't create, edit, or delete any records - Can't modify candidate stages or pipeline data

Note: If you need additional permissions, contact your organization's administrator to have your role updated.


Role Assignment


Roles are assigned when a user account is created and can be updated at any time by an Administrator. See Manage Users for instructions.
