Search for Candidates

Finding the right candidates is quick and easy in Minotaur. You've got two main ways to search from the candidates screen: using the search bar for a quick lookup or using column filters when you need more control.

Using the Search Bar

The search bar is your fastest way to find a candidate by name.

  1. Click on Candidates in the left-side menu.
  2. In the search bar at the top of the screen, type the candidate's name.
  3. Click on Candidates in the dropdown results.
  4. All matches will appear. Click on any result to go directly to their profile.

Using Column Filters

When you need to search by something other than a name, column filters are your go-to. This is helpful if you're looking for candidates in a specific location, at a certain stage, or by reference number.

  1. Click on Candidates in the left-side menu.
  2. From the candidates list, click on the column header you want to filter by.
  3. Adjust the filter criteria and click Filter.
  4. The list updates instantly to show only matching candidates.

💡 Tip: Column filters are especially useful when you want to narrow down by location, stage, or reference number. The more specific you are, the faster you'll find what you're looking for.

From the Global Search Bar

You can search for candidates from anywhere in the platform without navigating to the candidates section.

  1. Click on the search bar at the top of any screen.
  2. Type the candidate's name.
  3. Select Candidates from the search category options.
  4. Click on the result to open their profile.
