Merge Duplicate Profiles
Minotaur keeps an eye out for duplicate candidate profiles and flags them automatically. If it detects a possible duplicate, you'll see a "Duplicate" tag on the candidate's profile.
Check for Duplicates
- Open a candidate's profile.
- Look for a "Duplicate" tag near the top of the profile. If it's not there, the candidate isn't flagged as a duplicate.
Merge Duplicate Profiles
If you confirm that two profiles are the same person, here's how to merge them:
- Open the candidate's profile that's flagged as a duplicate.
- Click the Duplicates button.
- A list of potentially duplicated profiles appears. Click the eye icon next to each profile to preview and confirm they're the same person.
- Select the profile that should be the primary (main) record — this is the one on the left.
- Click Merge Duplicates.
The profiles merge into one and the "Duplicate" tag disappears.
Mark as Not a Duplicate
If the flagged profiles are actually different people, no problem:
- Follow steps 1–3 above to open the comparison view.
- Select the main profile.
- Click Mark as Not Duplicate.
The "Duplicate" tag clears from both profiles without merging them.
