Drop or Remove a Candidate from a Job
Sometimes you need to take a candidate out of a job — but there's an important difference between dropping and removing a candidate that affects your reporting.
| Action | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Drop | The candidate is removed from the job and counted as "Dropped" in reports |
| Remove | The candidate is removed from the job and does not appear in dropped candidate counts |
Drop a Candidate
From the Job Page
- Open the job where the candidate is enrolled.
- Go to the Candidates tab.
- Find the candidate's card and click the ⋮ next to the eye icon.
- Select Drop.
- Choose a drop reason from the dropdown.
- Optionally, add a note with additional context.
- Click Drop to confirm.
From the Candidate's Profile
- Open the candidate's profile.
- Go to the Jobs tab.
- Click the ⋮ next to the job name and select Drop.
- Choose a drop reason, add an optional note if you'd like, and click Drop.
Remove a Candidate
Follow the same steps as dropping a candidate, but instead of selecting Drop, click Remove and confirm with Yes.
The candidate gets removed from the job without being counted as a dropped candidate.
