Drop or Remove a Candidate from a Job

Sometimes you need to take a candidate out of a job — but there's an important difference between dropping and removing a candidate that affects your reporting.

Drop a Candidate

From the Job Page

  1. Open the job where the candidate is enrolled.
  2. Go to the Candidates tab.
  3. Find the candidate's card and click the next to the eye icon.
  4. Select Drop.
  5. Choose a drop reason from the dropdown.
  6. Optionally, add a note with additional context.
  7. Click Drop to confirm.

From the Candidate's Profile

  1. Open the candidate's profile.
  2. Go to the Jobs tab.
  3. Click the next to the job name and select Drop.
  4. Choose a drop reason, add an optional note if you'd like, and click Drop.

Remove a Candidate

Follow the same steps as dropping a candidate, but instead of selecting Drop, click Remove and confirm with Yes.

The candidate gets removed from the job without being counted as a dropped candidate.
